
Yo, trying out a new way of modelling the head since I need to get the target and Hitman animation friendly. Problem is I need to use the create polygon tool a fair bit in this process so when I smooth out I get the bits where I've created a poly looking different to the rest of the mesh. You can't see it very well but in the screen shot look at the edge in the highlighted section.
Dan said it's probably something to do with normals but I'm not sure what exactly it would be. Any of you's had this problem? Let me know if you have a quick fix.

Cool man, I'll probably get the skull finished first then send it to you. So expect it later today or tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteUnlocking the normals didn't work. It's happening all over since I'm extruding edges and merging the verts.
Actually I'll send it now since Im having a break.
If you figure it out lemme know what the problem was because I'll probably use the same process for the Hitman.
Ok i solved your problem, basically you said you made the face using create polygone tool, well ideleted the faces which looked odd and simply exxtruded out the edges and merged them with the other. ill send u what i done to ur email
ReplyDeleteOk man so basically just delete the funky faces and re-make them. I was hoping it ouldn't come to that but so be it.
