Question on environment

Sam just wanted to ask should i only focus on the two cubes u put in the layout representing the apartment and another building, or do we have to model a whole street of building. The buildings which was in the file you gave me, are they only going to be in shot and no other buildings along the road?

    hey man, good question. For now model what you see. Focus more on the areas that are going to be in the camera shot, check animatic for a rough idea. But like Dan said, when it comes to your show reel you probably want a completed model rather than a half finished.

    Yo sam is there a poly limit count on the outside environment, seeing as most of the films scenes are donw in the the rooms should we detail the outside environments cause we would only need to render a few frames outside

    Nah just do what needs to be done. Don't worry about polys too much. If Problems come up later, we may have to cut corners, remove back faces etc.
