Ok guys this is the process off the CirKus of animation video....
Model
UV
Rigging (and Blendies?)
Then add the textures.
Then Animate!
It doesn't mention the blend shapes but it mentions rigging... so I'm not entirely sure where it comes in. I'm pretty sure its anywhere after UVing. So Ferhan can you get the hitman off Josh/Spence and keep on trucking with your rig if you got time.

hey man - smirk is fooking awesome - I love that - put on a few piccys on ur blog so every1 can see if you find time.
ReplyDelete'worried' looks ok but I think we need to drop the jaw below the mouth (we never move our mouths without the jaw going with it)
This might require a bone on the rig to parent the teeth to the jaw but I'm not entirely sure.
I think thats the problem with cool as well...you can move the jaw meaning stationary bottom set of teeth - when we even smile the jaw seems to drop slightly (at least it does mine)
Can you also create a wide/narrow (he's already pretty wide anyway but a narrow for whistle/breathe out)
and a jaw down open if possible.
Also... MATE please use backface culling so that you do not alter the back of the head... have a look lol!!!!!!!!!
Mate your doing really well!! keep it up!
should you be doing them on the UV'd version or can you apply those blend shapes to the other model??
ReplyDeleteum lol i dont know, i dont think it matters becuase the Uvs are only thier to layout the textures. the Verts should still be the same i think
ReplyDeleteperhaps get Spence/Josh to send you the hitman anyway just to check? I think your right though
ReplyDeleteHow do i use backface culling?
ReplyDeleteguessing u got my e-mail now lol
ReplyDeleteyeh thanks man
